**Step 5.** Enter the channel name.

**Step 6.** Copy the agent settings if they already exist, or create new ones.

**Step 7.** Connect the knowledge base, if there is one.

![](https://4126380821-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FwirYrs8odJMFan3KqfzY%2Fuploads%2FBOrWcAVDkMZaTOfpDNl4%2Fbitrix-10.webp?alt=media)

The channel is connected.

## Bitrix24 and Athena settings

**Step 8.** Open the Bitrix24 channel settings.

![](https://4126380821-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FwirYrs8odJMFan3KqfzY%2Fuploads%2FTySMcNuREiDgIJO4gDqi%2Fbitrix-11.webp?alt=media)

Set the Bitrix24 and Athena operating parameters.

**Step 9.** Choose the operating mode — **leads** or **deals**, as in your Bitrix24.

Select the funnels and stages where the agent works by default.

{% hint style="info" %}
If funnels and stages are not specified, the agent works in all available stages and funnels.
{% endhint %}

![](https://4126380821-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FwirYrs8odJMFan3KqfzY%2Fuploads%2FDLLbuo6QUvgVV0g6imEA%2Fbitrix-12.webp?alt=media)

**Step 10.** Specify the fields Athena will fill in: **Add** → the required parameters.

Specify the agent's display name if needed. It will appear in responses in Bitrix24 if manager names are displayed in the conversation.

Choose the open line Athena will connect to by default.

![](https://4126380821-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FwirYrs8odJMFan3KqfzY%2Fuploads%2FCiS7Vaimx5hVWnSeGU0q%2Fbitrix-13.webp?alt=media)

**Step 11.** Set the trigger parameters. Athena can execute triggers and assigned tasks and move the deal to the required stage after the goal is reached. Select funnels, stages, and triggers.

## Multi-agents

Athena allows you to connect multiple agents at different stages. Each can have its own task and instructions and be assigned to different lines and funnels.

**Step 12.** Create the required number of agents: [**Channels**](/documentation/documentation-en/channels.md) → **Bitrix24**.

![](https://4126380821-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FwirYrs8odJMFan3KqfzY%2Fuploads%2FT9Io3DsomAIEPLbVRgDg%2Fbitrix-15.webp?alt=media)

**Step 13.** Set up Bitrix24 settings: parameters, operating mode, variables, stages.

Then open **Basic bot settings** and fill in: name, time, role, behavior instructions, and tasks.

![](https://4126380821-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FwirYrs8odJMFan3KqfzY%2Fuploads%2FLhyHHd2jyMONpJbgsWnJ%2Fbitrix-16.webp?alt=media)

**Step 14.** Assign the open line where the agent works by default.

Channel setup is complete.

## Connecting lines in Bitrix24

**Step 15.** Open the contact center to create an open line and connect Athena to it. Choose the messengers and websites where Athena will receive incoming messages.

![](https://4126380821-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FwirYrs8odJMFan3KqfzY%2Fuploads%2FrFdlM43JoYH68I0664sW%2Fbitrix-18.webp?alt=media)

**Step 16.** Select the required line → open settings.

![](https://4126380821-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FwirYrs8odJMFan3KqfzY%2Fuploads%2FhEsyCtkqX5pj01reXUIo%2Fbitrix-19.webp?alt=media)

![](https://4126380821-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FwirYrs8odJMFan3KqfzY%2Fuploads%2FtOXTVFHqBVpTiE6bMvCM%2Fbitrix-20.webp?alt=media)

**Step 17.** Configure the line for your tasks.

![](https://4126380821-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FwirYrs8odJMFan3KqfzY%2Fuploads%2FygZxbVH7S8wMCmASJlfK%2Fbitrix-21.webp?alt=media)

![](https://4126380821-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FwirYrs8odJMFan3KqfzY%2Fuploads%2FPpd0o6aXl31R3lRuLeFk%2Fbitrix-22.webp?alt=media)

Done. The open line is set up, and Athena joins the conversation according to your settings.

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Important!**

The agent works only if there are deals in Bitrix24 and new deals are being created.
{% endhint %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.athenachat.ai/documentation/documentation-en/integrations/bitrix24.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
